Bremerton Arrival - Thursday!

Rob and Christina will be arriving in Bremerton Thursday, October 15th. They will be living in the house next to the church. Stop by and say 'Hi!'

HOME GOING

As you know, we're in the last stages of preparing to go home. The pigs are gone as well as the chickens. The car is secured, battery stored. Had a little problem with the pump at the well but took care of that. Last minuet packing.
As you've seen on my singniture We are now Missionaries to the United States. Remember the great commission? We are all called to preach the Gospel. As soon as we walk out of our churches we are in the mission field. We'd better get busy because the time is short. I don't know what's going to happen first, the Lord returning or us distroying ourselves and I think the latter is happening now. Remember 2nd Chronicles 7:14 We better get busy. He said You receive not because you ask not.( or you ask amiss). See you all stateside in a couple days.
I'll have more to report when we get home. God Bless You.

BY-BY

As most of you know by now we are going home. We'll be leaving here the 14th of Oct. and arriving in Sea-Tac the 15th. Before we go there are a few things we need to do like get rid of the pigs and butcher the chickens. Then we are in the final stages of building the new chrch in MagSaySay. We are planning the dedication services the 10th of Oct. I've put in a few pictures of the construction.

Church pews under construction

The congragation decided they wanted pews for the church. So how to finance them was the next question. They took up pledges and met their goal. Christina and I donated the trees, they had them cut to spects. and let them dry. Two weeks ago they started plaining and sanding. At this time we have four completed. Will have pictures to follow. They want to varnish them also. I think it's amazing that the pastor has them only work one day a week so that they can take care of everything else. I've never seen such good fellowship. They are doing this as unto the Lord. No pay, but we feed them.

UPDATE

I KNOW I'M LATE , PLEASE FORGIVE ME. WE HAVE BEEN SO BUSY, BY THE TIME IT'S TIME TO BLOG I'M TO TIRED. I NEVER HAVE BEEN MUCH OF A LETTER WRITER ANYWAY. MY DAD USED TO SAY THE ONLY TIME YOU WRITE HOME IS WHEN YOU WANT SOMETHING.

WE'VE BEEN BUSY WITH THE CHURCHES TWO ARE IN BUILDING STAGE RIGHT NOW. HAVE TO WAIT FOR PAYDAY TO START. THINGS TAKE A LOT LONGER DOWN HERE THAN IT DOES IN THE STATES. THE PEOPLE JUST DON'T MOVE LIKE WE DO. I TELL THE YOUNG PEOPLE IF THEY EVER GET TO THE STATES, WHEN THEY GET OFF THE PLANE THEY BETTER BE RUNNING. THEY ARE REALLY LAID BACK DOWN HERE. THAT'S PROBABLY WHY THEY LIVE SO LONG. AT ANY RATE WE'VE TURNED OUR CHURCHES OVER TO A/G TO FREE US UP PLANT MORE CHURCHES AND NOT BE TIED DOWN TO THE DAY TO DAY OPPERATION.

CHRISTINA AND I ARE RAISING 15 PIGS TO HELP SUBSIDIZE BUILDING OUR HOUSE ON THE SECOND FLOOR, AS WE TURNED OVER THE DOWNSTAIRS TO THE CHURCH FOR CLASSROOMS. WE HELPED ORDAIN THREE NEW PASTORS INTO THE A/G. WHAT A THRILL TO BE ENVOLVED WITH THE ASSEMBLIES LIKE THAT.

AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES WE ARE GOING TO RAISE THE ROOF AND PUT OUR HOUSE ON THE SECOND FLOOR.
